crawhammer imo Downward Is Heavenward remains Hum's best collection of songs (especially the reissue with bonus tracks). Astronaut is only slightly less perfect. More than two decades later, Inlet, their heaviest release, blends seamlessly into their discography. Desert Rambler and Shapeshifter are epic tracks. The rest are very good to great. Favorite track: Desert Rambler.

Brian Endsley Many bands have come and go in my life that I have loved. Few have stuck with me like Hum did. I was blown away when "You'd Prefer An Astronaut" first came out and believed "Downward is Heavenward" was even better. I still listen to both regularly to this day. It makes me so happy to have a new album to add to that rotation and something that fits and belongs too.

I am the Aroogah I feel like I have been given the most amazing musical gift. I never, never thought that another Hum album would ever happen. It is amazing! It is everything you would want - that Hum sound but gently matured, the way we all have since then. Hum were always the band that no one else had ever heard of. It is delightful to see so many others popping up with the same levels of joy and surprise. I have found my people. And you are all awesome. Every single one of you. Favorite track: In the Den.
